Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 August 2025
Applies to: WHIP (Weststar Halal Integrated Platform) on
wghtc.com, operated by
Weststar-Engineering Sdn Bhd (WESB) (Malaysia).
These Terms govern your access to and use of WHIP, a certification management platform that helps
applicants submit,
manage, and track halal certification processes with participating Certification Bodies (“CBs”).

workflow.

2) Platform Role (Middleman)
- WHIP provides workflow, data collection, tracking, and payment facilitation.
- WESB acts as a middleman for certain Fees and will remit applicable amounts to the

- You must provide accurate and current information (company profile, contacts, scope, documents).
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and activities under your account.
- You must have authority to act on behalf of your organization when submitting applications.
4) Application Submission & Documents
- You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of submitted information and documents.

- Transaction references, timestamps, and receipts may be recorded for reconciliation and audit

6) Refunds & Cancellations
- Refunds/cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Because WESB remits Fees to the CB, you must notify us immediately if you require
refund/correction so we can take action before disbursement (where possible).
- Once the CB starts processing or services (review/audit) are reserved/delivered, refunds may be
limited or not possible.

third-party provider failures (banks/gateways/couriers).
13) Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify and hold WESB harmless from claims arising from your misuse of WHIP, false
submissions, or violation of laws/third-party rights.
14) Governing Law
